MY STORY

I am a creative and effective manager and advisor who has applied my skills to concepts and projects in a wide range of for-profit and not-for-profit environments. Following an early career in publishing and completion of an MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau France (1991) I joined the UK media company Pearson where I was responsible for the early-stage development of a range of business lines. After a period in Australia as the Executive Director of the membership organization of the Art Gallery of New South Wales I moved to the US (in 2000) and worked for 11 years as a Development Director at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. I established Helen Warwick Management llc in 2011 and as a consultant work with not-for-profits who are at a moment of strategic inflection. I have shaped new plans; found new supporters; re-imagined stories and re-vitalized processes. I am also an Adjunct Professor at New York University teaching courses in Development and Museum Management, and a proud Board member of Danspace Project, the Innisfree Foundation and the US Friends of the British Council.
